Kobani University explores strengthening academic cooperation with UCLouvain in Brussels

As part of its efforts to expand academic relations and engage with international educational institutions, Kobani University discussed ways to enhance scientific and research cooperation with academics from UCLouvain during a meeting held in Brussels.

Dr. Ashraf Mahmoud, Director of the Relations Office at Kobani University, met with Professor Deirk Rochtus of UCLouvain at the headquarters of the Representation of the Democratic Autonomous Administration of North and East Syria in Brussels.

During the meeting, both sides discussed avenues for strengthening academic and scientific cooperation between Kobani University and Belgian educational and research institutions. They also explored opportunities for exchanging expertise and developing joint research projects.

The two parties exchanged views on the current state of higher education and the role of international partnerships in supporting scientific research and advancing educational programs.

At the conclusion of the meeting, both sides emphasized the importance of maintaining academic communication and cooperation, contributing to the creation of new opportunities for scientific and cultural collaboration in the coming period.
