Kongra Star strongly condemned the Turkish occupation's targeting of a member of its coordination, and stressed that Haifa al-Arabo, one of the participants in establishing the Autonomous Administration, organizing the ranks of women, and unifying their efforts, embodied all the meanings of a free woman.

In the presence of many women, activists, human rights activists, and intellectuals, Kongra Star made a statement to public opinion regarding the attack on its coordinator member, Haifa Al-Arabo, and member of the Democratic Union Party, Dilawar Al-Arabo, with a drone of the Turkish occupation state in Southern Kurdistan, which led to their martyrdom on January 27 of last year. .

The statement was read by Shiraz Hamo, member of the Kongra Star Coordination Committee, in the March 12 Stadium in the city of Qamishlo.

During the statement, Kongra Star condemned the aerial bombardment by the Turkish occupation state that targeted its coordination member, Haifa Al-Arabo, and offered its sincere condolences to her relatives and all women and the Kurdish people.

The coordination said, "The Turkish state has committed a new crime against humanity," and added: "This is a targeting and killing of the revolutionary woman and the liberated woman who has become part of the Kurdish identity."

Kongra Star stated that its coordination member, Haifa Al-Arabo, was known as “Salha Viyan,” and she was born in the city of Al-Darbasiyah in Al-Jazira Canton  of the NE Syria region in 1981.

She also pointed out that the martyr Haifa Al-Arabo began participating in political events and youth activities since she was 16 years old, and announced her joining the Kurdistan Freedom Movement.

And described Haifa Al-Arabo as an example of humility, freedom, courage, and a comradely spirit, and embodied all the meanings of a free woman.

Kongra Star appreciated the efforts of its coordination member in organizing and raising awareness of women in Raqqa, Manbij, Tabqa, and Deir ez-Zor, stressing that she played an important role in organizing the ranks of Arab women and strengthening their will.

The conference indicated that Haifa Al-Arabo was one of the most important participants in establishing the Democratic Autonomous-Administration, and she made a great effort in organizing the ranks of women within the administration.

Haifa Arabo participated in establishing the Women's Body, and was then chosen as co-chair of the Al-Jazira Canton According to the statement, she joined the Kongra Star at her request, and was chosen as a member of the Kongra Star Coordinator during the recent conference elections.
