K Star calls for international women's solidarity

The Committee OF Democratic Political Relations and Agreements of the Kongra Star sent a message of solidarity to women's and revolutionary movements around the world, on the occasion of the International Day for the Elimination of Violence against Women, which falls on (November 25 of each year).

The text of the solidarity letter, a copy of which we received, reads as follows:

"On this special day, in which women's voices come together in defense of their dignity and their right to a safe and free life, we write to you in a voice saturated with steadfastness and struggle, on the twenty-fifth of November, the International Day for the Elimination of Violence against Women, to pay a deep salute to every woman who stands up to injustice, whether she is at home, in the street, behind prison bars, or in the fields of struggle.

A tribute full of pride and gratitude to all women who defend freedom and human dignity in all parts of the world; from Palestine, where women stand up to the might of occupation, to India, where women fight for equality, from the grieving Sudan, where women pay the price of conflict and injustice, to Iran and Eastern Kurdistan, where women raise the banner of resistance despite oppression, and from every rebellious woman who fights for a better world.

Systematic violence against women is the fruit of the patriarchal mentality from which all other forms of violence flow, from exploitation and forced occupation to slavery and massacres. The struggle against this violence must therefore target the same patriarchal mentality, which the state continues to promote at all levels, making it the most cruel tool for the continuous and systematic reproduction of violence against women.

Today, in light of the expansion of the influence of this mentality globally, the patriarchal system, with its discriminatory ideology, wages a war of a special kind against women, targeting all their achievements and rights achieved through continuous struggles. These efforts are combined with the aim of integrating the women's movement into the existing system, making their resistance leaderless, and chances of true liberation would be robbed.

Today, we live in the shadow of an undeclared Third World War, where women are the primary target in a multidimensional conflict that threatens their existence and seeks to silence their voices. This war, which erupts from a patriarchal system, seeks to rob women of their gains and strip them of their rights, turning women into victims of systematic genocide, in constant attempts to quell the spirit of resistance for which they have struggled for decades.

World War III is not just a military conflict, but a systematic war that targets life in all its meanings. They destroy culture, nature and fundamental human values. and sees the values of freedom, peace, democracy, women's struggle, and the environment as enemies that must be eliminated. This war is rooted in destroying the concept of coexistence and destroying the historical heritage and values on which societies were built. In the face of this global threat to our existence as individuals and peoples, it becomes our duty as women to stand up to this organized violence that targets life, identity and hope.

Under the slogan "With the philosophy of women - life - freedom protect yourself", we stand today in Rojava and NE Syria, and we affirm that the current moment requires unifying efforts and strengthening women's solidarity. It has become imperative that women's movements around the world come together to adopt self-protection mechanisms that stand in the way of attempts by dark forces seeking to thwart this great women's revolution that we are witnessing in various parts of the world.

The revolution is not an emergency event, but a long march of unstoppable struggle and resistance. The women's revolution in Rojava and in NE Syria, continues to develop and grow despite the many challenges it faces. This revolution, in which women emerge as a vital and pivotal force, is under constant attack, especially by the fascist Turkish state, which positions itself on the side of misogyny and strives to destroy this revolution in pursuit of freedom and equality.

The enemy is launching brutal attacks to the extent that no wars have reached, trying to impose an all-out war on our people and our revolution. In the occupied territories, killings and abuse of women continue, especially in brutal attacks that systematically target women leaders. This horrific attack is not a coincidence, but a deliberate targeting, because the Turkish regime knows very well that the leadership role of women is one of the pillars of this revolution. They aim to undermine the will of our people in their quest for freedom and equality by destroying the female leadership, which is a symbol of strength and resilience in this battle for liberation.

This appeal is a call for renewed resolve and commitment to the path of struggle; let us work hand in hand to establish networks of support and solidarity that challenge oppression and ensure that women's voices remain heard. We pledge to stand with every woman who resists injustice and fights for freedom, and every woman who defies restrictions and demands her rights to a just society and a dignified life.

We at K Star recognize that protecting women's revolution requires strengthening independent organization and self-protection mechanisms, and we consider this moment to be a historic opportunity to form a global coalition that repels all attempts at control and restriction, and highlights that women's voices are stronger than dark forces.

To all the rebellious women, to all the women who still hold on to their dreams despite injustice, and to all those who stand up to violence everywhere in this world, we affirm that you are not alone. Together, we are writing a new chapter in the history of the struggle, working to build a future in which women's freedom and dignity are an inalienable right.

Let us continue the struggle, strengthen our unity, and make this century a century of women's freedom and glory."
