Israeli Security Source warns Hezbollah of possible new ground operation in Lebanon

An Israeli security source warned of the possibility of launching a new ground operation in Lebanese territory if decisive action is not taken against Hezbollah's weapons. The source emphasized that Hezbollah is attempting to rebuild its capabilities and called for vigilance, noting that the group’s military status remains uncertain.

The source stated: "We will intervene again in Lebanon if practical steps are not taken against Hezbollah's arsenal." He also assessed that Hezbollah lacks the military capability to support Iran in a direct conflict with Israel.

Recently, the Israeli army intensified surveillance and monitoring of Hezbollah’s activities and movements. Israeli military spokesperson Avichay Adraee said yesterday: "Since the ceasefire, the army continues efforts to prevent Hezbollah from threatening northern Israeli citizens and rebuilding its arsenal."

In the past two days, Israel conducted airstrikes targeting a vehicle in the Marjayoun area in southern Lebanon, killing one person. Prior to that, successive strikes hit five Lebanese villages after evacuation warnings were issued to residents.
