According to Roj News, the arrest took place at an Iraqi army checkpoint in the Hawija area. Both men remain in jail without any judicial decision or legal justification, which locals described as an "arbitrary measure."

The report noted that the arrest has now entered its fourth day, against the backdrop of the ongoing blockade on the camp since April 10, which includes restrictions on food, medicine, and construction materials.

This is not the first time Ahmad Shahbaz has been detained. On May 14, he and a delegation from the camp administration were arrested on their way to Baghdad for official meetings. They were held for 37 days before being released.
