HPG refutes Turkish allegations, confirms killing of 2 Turkish soldiers

HPG Media Center announced, through a statement, the killing of two Turkish occupation soldiers, during operations carried out by the forces in the Amadiya hill, west of Zap, in the Mediya defense areas in Southern Kurdistan.

From the 16th to the 23rd of January, the squares of Sayan Hill, Rashid Hill, Sisir Hill, Zivki, and Cedar in the Kari region were attacked 14 times, and the squares of Judi Hill, Bahar Hill, and Amadiya Hill in the Martyr Dalil area, west of Zap, were attacked 9 times, and the Barbzna Hill, area. Barbazna, Loulan River, Koca Khajar, Martyr Sharif and Collet squares in the Khakurk region 17 times, the Darkli, Shilaz, and Seri Metina squares in the Metina region 4 times, and the Martyr Ibrahim Resistance Square in the Zap region once, meaning a total of 45 times, were bombed by Turkish occupation army warplanes.

On January 20 and 21, the regions of Zap and Xakurk were bombed by attack helicopters.

The areas of Zap, Martyr Dalil West Zap, Matina and Khakurk were also subjected to artillery shelling.”
