HPG: 5 Turkish soldiers killed, wounded in Matina
The People's Defense Forces confirmed the killing and wounding of 5 members of the Turkish occupation army, during a retaliatory operation carried out by the Free Women's Units - Star in Defense areas.
Today, the Media Center of the People's Defense Forces (HPG) issued a statement about the Guerrilla operations against the Turkish occupation army and the occupation attacks, which stated:
“In the Matina area;
On February 3, at 10:40, two occupation soldiers were killed and 3 others were injured, while the Turkish occupation army revealed the killing of the specialist sergeant, Kadir Dinkel, without disclosing any details. this operation was carried out by our forces affiliated with the Free Women’s Units - Star in retaliation for our male and female comrades who were martyred as a result of chemical weapons and banned bombs in the resistance square in Orta Hill.
Khakurk region;
On February 4, at 14:20, occupation soldiers were targeted with heavy weapons on Martyr Haqqi Hill. This operation was carried out by our forces affiliated with the Free Women’s Units-Star.
On February 2, 3, and 4, warplanes bombed Zangileh Hill and Sidara Square in the Kari region twice, Barakheh Square in the Heftanin region twice, Lulan River Square in the Kharkurk region once, Martyr Ibrahim Square in the West Zap region once, and Darkla Square in the Matina region twice. That is, a total of 8 times.
