After 14 years of holding firmly to and defending their mother tongue, students now face a new challenge affecting their educational future following the transitional government’s recent decision to reduce the number of hours of Kurdish-language instruction. Al-Khabour Medical Hospital is offering free initiatives to serve local residents, including 14 medical clinics and free diabetes tests during September, as well as a lithotripsy machine for breaking up kidney stones.
