On the sixth anniversary of their occupation, the cities of Serê Kaniyê and Girê Spî continue to witness flagrant violations, including changes to their cultural and demographic identity through the evacuation and bulldozing of villages, seizure of 98% of lands, and displacement of up to 87% of the indigenous population.
