Residents of the Çil Agha city annex, home to around 100 houses located outside the official urban plan, are calling for the expansion of the master plan to include their homes, enabling them to receive essential services such as water, electricity, sewage, and paved roads. The People's Municipality said the expansion depends on the formation of a specialised committee, which has yet to be established due to the ongoing integration of the Autonomous Administration's institutions with those of the Syrian Transitional Government. A number of property owners in Masyaf, in the Hama countryside, continue to be denied the right to use their properties, which they say were confiscated under Baathist rule. They claim the properties are being invested in or leased to others and are calling for an investigation into how they have been managed and for their return to their rightful owners.
