Patients and their families visiting Hama National Hospital are facing difficulties in accessing healthcare, amid accusations of favoritism and a lack of equipment, which limits the chances of receiving timely treatment.

Amer Jajo from the city of Hasakah recalls the night of Newroz in 2015, when two explosions carried out by ISIS mercenaries took the lives of his two children, Mohammed and Ahmed, during the celebration. Since that day, he has been known as “the father of the two children,” carrying their photos on his car and living with the pain of loss. Yet, he insists on confronting the memory by attending Newroz every year with his children, believing that the flame of life is stronger than fear. (Attached with photos and video).

Thousands of forcibly displaced people from the cities of Afrin and Serêkaniyê, who were forced to leave their homes following attacks by the Turkish occupation and its mercenaries, still dream of a safe return.
