As the Turkish occupation mercenaries took control of several neighborhoods in Aleppo without any significant resistance from the Damascus government forces, the residents of Sheikh Maqsoud and Ashrafieh neighborhoods, who chose the path of self-defense and protection, remain under a tight siege.

With the mercenaries' continued advance in Aleppo, the markets in the two neighborhoods continue to suffer from a scarcity of food supplies and vegetables, creating a significant humanitarian crisis.

ANHA correspondent in Sheikh Maqsoud confirmed that the available goods in the stores are the neighborhood's only stock, with no possibility of acquiring supplies from outside, and these are now dwindling.

ANHA correspondent pointed out that the main vegetable market located in the Ramouseh neighborhood fell under the control of the mercenaries after the withdrawal of Damascus government forces. This market was a crucial source of food and vegetables for the neighborhood's stores.

A few residents had previously converted small spaces in their homes into self-sufficient gardens.

Traders fear being targeted by the Turkish occupation mercenaries if they attempt to leave the neighborhood after it was placed under siege.
