Since the early hours of the day, the service institutions and employees of the Autonomous Administration have mobilized all resources to prepare temporary shelters in Tabqa. These shelters aim to accommodate those forcibly displaced from Afrin and Shahba after being driven out of their camps and areas due to the intense aerial and ground attacks by the Turkish occupation forces and its mercenaries.

According to reports from ANHA correspondents, convoys of forcibly displaced individuals have started leaving the countryside of Afrin and Shahba Canton after spending an entire night outdoors, waiting for their security and military forces to secure a safe corridor.

An initial temporary center has been set up in the Sports City within Tabqa, in addition to some schools and Autonomous Administration buildings in the area. According to supervisors working on these centers, they consist of tents, buildings, and schools, offering food, water, and healthcare until suitable housing is prepared for the displaced individuals.

The People's Council of Afrin and Shahba emphasized that to prevent massacres against the people of Tal Rifaat and Shahba and to protect innocent civilians, they voluntarily decided to leave the area, which had been surrounded by mercenaries of the Turkish occupation state.

It is expected that more than 200,000 displaced individuals will arrive.
