Explosions rocked the Iranian capital on Tuesday, with electricity cut off in parts of the city, according to Iranian media, more than a month into the Middle East war sparked by the U.S.-Israeli attack on Iran.

Iran’s Fars News Agency reported a “power outage in parts of Tehran after several explosions were heard.”

Tasnim News Agency also stated that residents in eastern and western Tehran experienced electricity cuts, adding that authorities are working to restore power, before later confirming that a substation linked to a power facility had been hit.

Earlier, the Israeli military had called on residents in a residential area of Tehran to take shelter ahead of a strike targeting “military infrastructure.”
