The Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan stated on Wednesday that Israel's attacks on Syria and Lebanon have reached a level that also threatens Turkey, adding that these Israeli strikes now pose a danger to the entire world and must be halted.

In a speech before the Parliament, Erdogan also mentioned that "malicious initiatives led by Israel are aimed at undermining the stability of the Mediterranean region," emphasizing that "Ankara's response to any actions that violate the rights of Turks and Turkish Cypriots will be clear and strong," according to Reuters.
