Efforts continue to contain blaze consuming farmland in Zerkan countryside

A large fire continues to burn across vast areas of agricultural land in the countryside of Zerkan in Jazira region after breaking out from Turkish military bases in the villages of Bab al-Khair and Tel Mohamed. Firefighting teams, assisted by local residents, are continuing efforts to bring the blaze under control and prevent it from spreading to additional areas.

The fire that broke out in agricultural fields in the countryside of Zerkan, in Jazira region, continues to burn, as firefighting teams, supported by local residents, press on with efforts to extinguish the blaze and prevent its spread.

The Fire Department in Hasaka has dispatched additional firefighting teams and equipment to reinforce efforts to contain the fire.

Municipal firefighting crews continue working to bring the blaze under control despite difficult conditions on the ground.

According to information from the area, the fire originated from Turkish military bases in the villages of Bab al-Khair and Tel Mohamed before spreading across vast areas of farmland and agricultural crops in the Zerkan countryside.

So far, the blaze has consumed extensive tracts of agricultural land, while firefighters and local residents continue their efforts to contain the fire and prevent it from spreading to additional areas.
