Demanding physical freedom of leader Abdullah Ocalan between goal, situation

The Turkish authorities have imposed strict isolation on leader Abdullah Ocalan since March 25, 2021, and have prevented his lawyer and family from meeting with him under the pretext of “disciplinary punishment.” In this regard, the peoples of North and East Syria are expressing their anger and rejection of that isolation, by denouncing and demanding his physical freedom through ongoing activities carried out. Organize it.

In ANHA agency's monitoring of the goal of participants in events organized in the city of al-Hasakah in North and East Syria, they referred to their struggle for the physical freedom of leader Abdullah Ocalan, and to express rejection of the authorities' decisions against the people.

“Kurds around the world are required to go out to the squares and demand Ocalan’s freedom.”

The young man, Muhammad Hajo, who is displaced from the occupied city of Serêkaniyê/ Ras al Ain and lives in the city of Hasakah, said: “The isolation imposed on Leader Ocalan is a targeting of the entire Kurdish people, and our participation comes from the idea he presented to the entire world, which is the idea of brotherhood of peoples, which he achieved for us in North and East Syria, protection and organization, and our current gains.”

He pointed to the goal of the Turkish authorities by saying: “The Turkish state is trying to exterminate the Kurdish people by targeting the leader Abdullah Ocalan and Kurdish politicians, and because the authorities know that bringing peace to the Middle East and the world lies in their physical freedom, they are therefore tightening the isolation in Imrali.”

He believes that their struggle in the squares must expand, as well as around the world, to form appropriate pressure that influences international opinion.

"All Kurds are required to come out to break the isolation imposed on Leader Ocalan."

The citizen, Ramadan Fattah, said about the reasons for his participation: “To express our rejection of these practices, and to confirm our adherence to our leader, and because his physical freedom is related to the extent of our struggle, so we will remain in the squares and everyone must increase the pace of their struggle, until the leader is physically liberated.”

“Leader Ocalan is our existence and our history, and dying for him is a dignity.”

For her part, citizen Syria Mohammad, IDPs from the occupied city of Serêkaniyê , who lives in the city of al-Hasakah, stressed the importance of their mass activities and the participation of every individual in them. She said: "We, as mothers, at these ages, will demand the freedom of our leader until our last breath. Leader Ocalan is our existence, our history, and our dignity," indicating a lack of complacency.

“We will not do justice to Leader Ocalan, so the Kurds must escalate their struggle.”

Participating in the activities, citizen Sabah Qara, also from the city of al-Hasakah, their struggle and going out to the squares is a small part of paying back the debt to Leader Abdullah Ocalan, who devoted his life to their service and sacrificed his freedom for them. She said: “No matter what we do, we will not fulfill leader Ocalan’s due rights, so all parts of Kurdistan should join the freedom campaign for the leader.”
