Deir-ez-Zor clans affirm their support and backing for SDF

The forces of the Damascus government and the so-called "National Defense" have been launching an attack on the cities and towns of the eastern countryside of Deir-ez-Zor canton, since last Tuesday, through artillery shelling and heavy and light weapons, which led to the martyrdom of two civilians and the injury of seven others.

Accordingly, ANHA's agency monitored the opinions of the notables of the clans of the North and East Syria region, who condemned these attacks, and stressed the need for national cohesion and support for the Syrian Democratic Forces to fight the attackers.

The elder of the Al-Aqeidat clan, Saeed Al-Rashid, condemned in the strongest terms the attacks carried out by the forces of the Damascus government and the so-called "National Defense", along the river bed in Deir-ez-Zor.

He explained that these attacks resulted in the disruption of service life and civilian life, as work stopped at the level of civil society in general, and resulted in material damage, and also the injury of a number of civilians and led to the martyrdom of two civilians as a result of the random attacks on these areas.

At the end of his speech, he directed the appeal to the sons and sheikhs of the region's tribes to rally around their sons, the Syrian Democratic Forces, to defend their areas and the areas where stability and security prevail; demanding greater effort and rallying from the local community and supporting their forces, in order to repel these current and future attacks.

As for Aboud Abdul Farhan, he indicated that the attack targeting the region of North and East Syria is being carried out under the cover that they are sons of the tribes, but these are not sons of the region; because they terrorized our children and frightened the people and these do not represent us, so the work they are doing is a terrorist and intimidating act.

He added, "We in the tribes and clans of North and East Syria are committed to the Syrian Democratic Forces, and we welcome them and thank them for their efforts in establishing security and stability by standing up to these attacks carried out by the sabotage parties."

Al-Farhan concluded his speech by saying: "We declare that we, the Arab tribes, are the supporters of the Syrian Democratic Forces, and our people have become aware of these plans, and we will not allow those lying in wait to achieve their efforts aimed at eliminating the will of our peaceful people."
