DAA to grant General Amnesty for public offense prisoners

 The General Command of the Syrian Democratic Forces held a high-level meeting today, attended by senior SDF military leaders under the leadership of Commander-in-Chief Mazloum Abdi, alongside officials from the Internal Security Forces, a delegation from the International Coalition, and tribal elders and dignitaries from the Tabqa and Raqqa regions.

 The meeting, which took place in the city of Raqqa, focused on recent developments in Syria, particularly in the North and East Syria region.

 Participants emphasized the necessity of maintaining stability and security in the region and continuing efforts to combat ISIS militants. They also underscored the importance of finding peaceful solutions to ongoing issues.

 One of the key outcomes of the meeting was the decision to grant a general amnesty for prisoners convicted of public offenses, to be issued in observance of the holy month of Ramadan.

 Additionally, the SDF, the International Coalition, and tribal elders agreed that the resolution of the Syrian crisis should be pursued through intra-Syrian dialogue. They advocated for the formation of a delegation to negotiate with Damascus and explored the possibility of integrating Autonomous Administration institutions into a broader framework. Furthermore, plans for administrative and economic reforms were discussed, with the International Coalition reaffirming its support for peaceful solutions.

 This meeting and its resulting decisions aim to strengthen regional stability and contribute to sustainable solutions for the Syrian crisis through dialogue and consensus.
