Tribal Leaders, SDF, and Coalition discuss Syrian crisis resolution

The SDF, the International Coalition, and tribal elders have agreed that the resolution to the Syrian crisis lies in an intra-Syrian dialogue and the formation of a delegation to negotiate with Damascus, with the possibility of integrating Autonomous Administration institutions into the Syrian state structure.

 A series of administrative and economic reforms will be launched, alongside a general amnesty for public-rights detainees, while the Coalition reaffirmed its commitment to supporting peaceful solutions.

 The General Command of the Syrian Democratic Forces held a significant meeting today, bringing together senior SDF military leaders, led by Commander-in-Chief Mazloum Abdi, security officials, a delegation from the International Coalition, and tribal elders from the Tabqa and Raqqa regions.

 The meeting took place in Raqqa and focused on recent developments in Syria, particularly in the north and east of the country.

 The participants emphasized the need to support stability and security in the region, counter the threat of ISIS remnants, and seek peaceful resolutions to ongoing challenges.

 Key Outcomes of the Meeting:

 Intra-Syrian Dialogue as the Solution: Participants reaffirmed that the resolution to the Syrian crisis must come through dialogue among Syrians themselves, rejecting military solutions.

 Formation of a Negotiating Delegation with Damascus: A representative delegation comprising all components of the region will be formed to engage in dialogue with the Syrian government regarding the future of both the region and the country.

 Readiness to Integrate Institutions: The Autonomous Administration expressed willingness to integrate its institutions into the Syrian state structure, contingent upon mutual agreement and dialogue.

 Upcoming Administrative and Economic Reforms: A series of administrative and economic reforms will be implemented soon to serve the interests of the local population.

 Denial of Undesirable Elements' Presence: The participants denied the presence of former regime elements or Iranian-affiliated actors in the region.

 General Amnesty for Public-Rights Detainees: In recognition of the holy month of Ramadan, a general amnesty will be issued for detainees convicted of public-rights offenses.

 International Coalition’s Support for Peaceful Solutions: The Coalition’s leadership reaffirmed its support for peaceful resolutions and dialogue-based conflict resolution among all parties.

 This meeting and its outcomes aim to strengthen stability in the region and foster sustainable solutions to the Syrian crisis through dialogue and mutual understanding.
