Contact lost with 2 girls after heading to Latakia University

Contact was lost with two young women from Bustan al-Basha village in the Jableh countryside after they headed to Latakia University to take an exam, with no official information released so far regarding the reasons behind their disappearance or their whereabouts.

Local sources reported that contact was lost with the two young women from Bustan al-Basha village, in the Jableh countryside, on Tuesday morning after they went to Latakia University to sit for a university exam, amid the absence of any official information about their fate.

The sources said the women’s families were prevented from entering the university when they attempted to inquire about them. They also confirmed that their phones received mysterious messages stating that they had “chosen the path of righteousness.”

According to circulating information, the two women are Shahd Yael Jadid, a nursing student, and Nagham Ayman Jadid, an education student. They are cousins.

No official statement has been issued to clarify the circumstances surrounding the women’s disappearance. Meanwhile, residents of the village are awaiting any information that could help determine their fate and reveal the circumstances behind the loss of contact.
