Call to international organizations, Red Cross to support leader Ocalan cause

Today, the Health Body in the city of Manbij and its countryside made a statement in front of Al-Furat Hospital in the city; Condemning the strict isolation imposed on Leader Abdullah Ocalan, and demanding his physical freedom.

The statement was read by the member of the Health Body, Qusay Muhammad, in the presence of doctors, nurses, members of the Health Body, and Al-Furat Hospital

The statement stressed that: “Arresting Leader Abdullah Ocalan and imposing isolation on him is a disgrace to humanity and a violation of all international covenants and conventions concerned with human rights and the rights of detainees. He is subject to kidnapping, forced disappearance, solitary confinement and psychological torture, and these practices constitute crimes against humanity, requiring intervention.” Urgently from the international community, because he is the owner of the idea of a democratic nation that represents the salvation of oppressed peoples in the world.”

The statement called for the freedom of leader Abdullah Ocalan to be achieved immediately and unconditionally.

It also called on international institutions, the United Nations, the European Union and the International Committee of the Red Cross to stand in solidarity with his cause, because his freedom means the freedom of the peoples of the region.
