7 soldiers of Turkish occupation army killed and injured in Matina

 Today, the media center of the People's Defense Forces (HPG) issued a statement about the operations carried out by Guerrilla fighters against the Turkish occupation army in Matina in the Media Defense areas and the occupation attacks, which stated:

The Turkish occupation army, which failed to achieve results against the Kurdistan Freedom Fighters in Zap, where they demonstrated an epic and historic resistance for three years, has been intensively using chemical weapons against the war tunnels in the resistance square in FM Hill in the Zap region since the past three days, while our forces continue to resist against this inhumane attack launched by the war criminal Turkish occupation army, the fascist Turkish army will not be able to break the will of the Kurdistan Freedom Gêrîla.”

Detailed information about the Gûrîla operations carried out against the enemy and the Turkish occupation attacks:

In the Mtina area:

On May 11, in the early morning hours, fighters from the Free Women’s Units - Star targeted Turkish occupation soldiers in the Resistance Square in Kolka, with heavy weapons, killing 3 Turkish soldiers and wounding 2.

On the afternoon of the same day, our forces targeted Turkish occupation soldiers in the Resistance Square in Kolka,  with individual and semi-automatic weapons, killing a Turkish soldier and wounding another.

At 16:00 on May 11, our forces targeted the Turkish occupation army in the Resistance Square in Kolka with semi-automatic weapons, and at the same time a strike was directed at an enemy bulldozer that was trying to build the road.

Turkish occupation army attacks with banned bombs:

On May 12, from 23:00 until 04:00 on May 13, the Turkish occupation army used toxic chemical gases 12 times against the war tunnels in the resistance square on FM Hill in the Martyr Dalil area, west of Zap.

Turkish occupation army attacks:

On May 12, Turkish warplanes twice bombed the resistance squares of Beyşil and Derkal in the Matina area.
