A source from the Lebanese Civil Defense told Agence France-Presse that seven people were killed and 12 others injured as a result of Israeli airstrikes targeting the city of Tyre on Thursday night into Friday.

The source explained that a strike hit the vicinity of Jabal Amal Hospital in the city, killing four people and injuring seven others, in addition to causing minor material damage to the hospital.

Another strike on the city of Tyre also resulted in the death of three people and the injury of five others, including two children.

In a related development, the Israeli army warned on Friday residents of the towns of Arnaya, Anqoun, and Kfar Fila, located north of the Litani River, to evacuate immediately in preparation for attacks in the area.

Israeli army spokesperson for Arabic media, Avichay Adraee, said residents should move at least 1,000 meters away toward open areas, noting that being near Hezbollah members, facilities, or military assets poses a danger to civilians.

The Lebanese National News Agency also reported population displacement from the town of Anqoun following the Israeli warnings, noting that the town hosts, in addition to its residents, around 2,500 displaced people.

According to the Lebanese National News Agency, other areas in southern Lebanon also witnessed scattered attacks during the morning hours, as an Israeli drone targeted the town of Kfar Dounin in the Bint Jbeil district, as well as the towns of Nabatieh al-Fawqa, Zbdin, Shoukin, and Jibshit. These developments come amid ongoing security tensions in southern Lebanon, despite the announcement of a ceasefire between the two sides several weeks ago.
