Citizen Mohamed Ismail Qader from the countryside of Kobani was abducted in the area between Manajir and Serê Kaniyê, with the kidnappers demanding a $600,000 ransom for his release.

Sources close to the family of Mohamed Ismail Qader, a resident of the countryside of Kobani, said he was abducted in the area between Manajir and Serê Kaniyê, without providing further details about the circumstances of the incident or the identity of those responsible.

The sources said the family received a phone call from the abductors and was able to speak with him during the call. The kidnappers demanded a $600,000 ransom, giving the family 24 hours to pay in exchange for his release.

They added that the family is financially unable to raise the requested amount and appealed to the relevant authorities and security agencies to intervene urgently to secure his release and bring the case to a swift resolution.
