50 people killed by Israeli attack in Gaza
More than 50 people were killed and 200 others injured in an Israeli strike targeting civilians waiting for aid in Khan Younis, southern Gaza Strip.

Palestinian Al-Aqsa TV reported on Tuesday that over 50 people were killed in an Israeli attack on residents waiting for humanitarian aid in Khan Younis, in the southern part of the Gaza Strip.
The channel added that 200 others were injured in the Israeli targeting of aid-seekers in the Sheikh Nasser neighborhood in eastern Khan Younis.
Earlier today, the Ministry of Health in Gaza announced that more than 45 people had been killed and hundreds injured as an “initial toll” from the Israeli strike on aid-seekers this morning. The ministry noted that the dead and wounded were taken to Nasser Medical Complex.
In a statement, the ministry said that emergency, intensive care, and operating departments are severely overcrowded due to the large number of casualties. The Ministry of Health renewed its call on all relevant parties to urgently supply medical aid.
The war In Gaza began nearly 20 months ago, after gunmen from Hamas stormed southern Israel on October 7, 2023. Israeli statistics indicate that the attack killed 1,200 people, mostly civilians, and led to the capture of 251 hostages.
Health authorities in Gaza say that Israel’s ongoing military campaign has since killed nearly 55,000 Palestinians, mostly civilians, flattened much of the territory, displaced the majority of its population, and spread hunger and malnutrition among them.
