4 Damascus government agents arrested in Deir-ez-Zor

The Special Forces of the Internal Security Forces arrested 4 people linked to groups affiliated with the Damascus government forces and involved in sabotage operations in Deir ez-Zor, and confiscated the weapons in their possession.

The Media Center for the Internal Security Forces in North and East Syria published on its official website that the HAT Special Forces arrested 4 people at dawn today, Sunday, “linked to groups affiliated with the Syrian regime and involved in sabotage operations in Deir ez-Zor at dawn today, Sunday, November 26.”

The center indicated, "The arrest came as a result of the forces' continuous work and after monitoring and follow-up operations carried out by the movements of sabotage groups funded by the Syrian regime, which aim to spread discord and destabilize security and stability in our regions."

According to the center, the forces confiscated the weapons in their possession, which are: “1 Kalashnikov rifle, 3 hunting rifles, 1 hand grenade, 3 mobile phones, a white weapon, 6 magazines with ammunition, and identification documents.”

The Internal Security Forces Media Center confirmed that preliminary investigations are being completed with them and then they are duly referred to the judiciary to receive a just punishment.
