The Syrian Observatory for Human Rights reported that violent explosions sounded at dawn today over Israeli strikes with several missiles, on the Aqraba - Sayyida Zeinab road south of Damascus. The Israeli raids also targeted a site that had been evacuated earlier in the vicinity of the town of Al-Ghazlaniyah on the road to Damascus International Airport.

The Syrian Observatory pointed out that as a result of the targeting, 3 members of the pro-Iranian groups, an Iranian, an Iraqi, and an unidentified third were killed, as a preliminary toll.

In turn, the Iranian Mehr Agency revealed the identity of an Iranian named Saeed Ali Dadi, who was killed as a result of the Israeli bombing of southern Damascus this morning.

A military source affiliated with the Damascus forces reported that, “At approximately 4:20 a.m. today, the Israeli enemy launched an air aggression from the direction of the occupied Syrian Golan, targeting a number of points south of Damascus. Our air defense media responded to the aggression’s missiles and shot down some of them, where the losses were limited to material losses.” The Syrian Observatory pointed out that since the beginning of 2024, Israel has targeted Syrian territory 8 times.
