Preparing for exit of 69 families from Al-Hol camp

69 families from Deir ez-Zor are preparing to leave Al-Hol camp within the next two days, and this is the first batch during the year 2024.

The administration of Al-Hol camp, south of the city of Hasaka is preparing to conduct the first exit operations for the camp’s residents, the people of Deir ez-Zor, on Wednesday, May 8.

According to the information obtained by ANHA correspondent, the batch includes 254 people from 69 families, and is the first batch for the camp’s residents from NE Syria during the year 2024.

This Batch comes after the last meeting between the Syrian Democratic Forces and the sheikhs and notables of Deir ez-Zor, and their discussion of the file of those returning from Al-Hol camp and their integration into society under the sponsorship of the tribal sheikhs and notables.

Al-Hol camp is considered the most dangerous camp in the world, according to the latest statistics obtained by ANHA agency from the camp administration, houses 42,781 people, including 19,530 Iraqis and 16,779 Syrians, while the number of foreigners is 6,461 people, and 11 people of unknown parentage.
