This morning, the Turkish Public Security Directorate in the capital, Ankara, was subjected to an armed bomb attack.

According to news reported by Turkish media, the attack occurred in front of the Turkish Public Security Directorate near Kizilay Square in the Turkish capital, Ankara.

The Turkish Interior Minister, Ali Yerli Kaya, announced that 2 security personnel were injured during the attack.

The Republican Public Prosecution in Ankara issued a statement, announcing the opening of an investigation into the attack, which stated: "The alternate Penal Magistrate Court in Ankara issued a decision to ban the media and prevent news coverage of the attack".
