Artillery shelling on villages and towns in countryside of Idlib and Aleppo

This morning, Damascus government forces bombed with heavy artillery the village of Al-Fatera in the southern countryside of Idlib, according to the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights.

The bombing also targeted the vicinity of the villages of Kafr Ta'al and Kafr Amma in the western countryside of Aleppo.

On a related level, a member of the Damascus government forces was killed after being sniped by Tahrir al-Sham mercenaries on the Basartun axis in the western countryside of Aleppo.

The "De-escalation" area witnesses sniper operations, infiltration, and mutual targeting between Damascus government forces and Turkish occupation mercenaries from time to time, leaving many dead.

Thus, the number of those killed by ground attacks within the "De-escalation" area since the beginning of 2023 has risen to 428, during 277 operations that varied between attacks, sniper operations, clashes, and targeting. More than of 312 injured in the aforementioned operations, including citizens, members of the Damascus government forces, and Turkish occupation mercenaries.
