​​​​​​​Arab tribes confirm that the strong solidarity between the components foiled all plans

The Deir ez-Zor region has recently witnessed acts of sabotage and an escalation in attacks by the Turkish occupation army and its mercenaries, coinciding with the launch of the Syrian Democratic Forces (SDF) operation (Security Enhancement) to pursue ISIS mercenary cells and drug traffickers, and to establish security in the region on August 27.

It also witnessed public and direct intervention by armed groups linked to security branches and services affiliated with the Damascus government, as they crossed from the west bank of the Euphrates River to the Autonomous Administration areas in the eastern countryside of Deir ez-Zor and attacked the Syrian Democratic Forces’ concentration points and the region’s service institutions during the past few days.

The prominent figure of the al-Shafrat clan in Tabqa, Ahmed al-Jadou, does not see these attacks coinciding with the ongoing “Security Enhancement” operation as anything but a continuation of the efforts of Turkey and the Damascus government to undermine the stability of their regions in NE, Syria, saying: “What the Deir ez-Zor regions are witnessing is an attempt to drag the region into sedition with their own hands.” Foreign affairs seek to undermine the stability of the region and ignite a war between the components of the region.”

Ahmed al-Jadou noted: “The existence of an agreement implemented by the Syrian regime’s agencies in coordination with the Iranians and factions loyal to Turkey, and exporting what is happening in Deir ez-Zor as an Arab-Kurdish strife to dismantle the interconnected social fabric that was achieved thanks to the democratic nation project,” warning of the policy followed by those parties regarding the region at the current stage.

Al-Jadou stressed: "The strong solidarity between all components in NE, Syria has thwarted all attempts by enemies who want to harm the security and stability of the region, and any upcoming conspiracies will fail."

Al-Jadou relied on the role of the Syrian Democratic Forces and the tribes in the region in eliminating strife, maintaining the security and stability of the region, and defeating these plans.

In his turn, the sheikh of the Meng clan, Ahmed al-Shaiban, stressed the fight against anyone who seeks to spread strife in the region and tamper with its security and stability, and to provide everything necessary to protect the region from “terrorism.”

Al-Shaiban called on the tribes to be cautious, exercise reason, and give priority to the special war targeting NE, Syria and its project, and to pay attention to what the parties supporting the groups attacking the region are seeking.
