Maintenance teams repair damage caused by Turkish bombing on electricity network in Tal Tamr

Maintenance teams at the Tal Tamr Electricity Center are working to maintain the electrical supply lines in the village of Umm Al-Kif, after they were damaged by the Turkish occupation attacks.

Yesterday, Monday, the Turkish occupation army and its mercenaries targeted electrical transmission l lines (66 kV) near the village of Umm al-Kif in the western countryside of Tal Tamr district in Hasakah canton.

The Turkish bombing led to a complete blackout in the Tal Tamr district, and this morning maintenance teams went to the district’s electricity center to repair the damage.

According to the Electricity Center, maintenance will be completed in the coming hours and electricity will return to the Tal Tamr district.

This is the 26th time that the Tal Tamer power substation has been out of service. As a result of the targeting of the high-voltage lines feeding the station by the Turkish occupation army and its mercenaries since its arrival on the outskirts of Tal Tamr district after its occupation of the city of Sere Kaniye in late 2019.
