Bloody fighting between mercenaries in Turkish-occupied Syrian areas

The mercenaries of "Tahrir al-Sham" and the mercenary groups allied with them took control of Al-Bouraniyah, Shu'ina, and Al-Sabuniyah in the occupied Jarabulus countryside. They also expanded to control the villages of Tanuza, Hajj Kusa, and Al-Dhahiria in the occupied Al-Bab countryside, according to what the SOHR reported.

The Observatory reported that “Tahrir al-Sham” mercenaries imposed their control on villages in the northern countryside, such as Ahtimlat - Shadoud, and this came hours after they imposed their control on large parts of Soran, Dabiq and Baraan in the Akhtarin countryside, north of Aleppo, after violent fighting and fierce battles with the mercenaries of the Turkish occupation army. What is called the "National Army".

Al-Marj camp in Ahtimlat in the Aleppo countryside is witnessing an exodus movement towards agricultural lands, after the camp was targeted with mortar shells.

Houses in the village of Dabiq in the countryside of Akhtarin, north of Aleppo, were bombarded with mortar and RPG shells, amid appeals from its residents to open safe corridors for them to exit the areas of conflict between the two parties, especially after the two parties used shells and heavy weapons within residential neighborhoods, with all mobile roads closed between disputed areas.

During the day, the Syrian Observatory documented the killing of 11 mercenaries, 5 of whom were mercenaries of “Tahrir al-Sham,” and 6 of whom were mercenaries of “Sultan Murad and Ahrar al-Sham, the Abu Haidar Maskanah group,” in addition to the capture of dozens of people from both sides as a result of the violent clashes.

Turkish mercenaries have been fighting for control of the Al-Hamran crossing since September 14, and the region is witnessing intermittent clashes on a daily basis between mercenary groups, with security alert incidents, in addition to sending large military reinforcements and deploying roadblocks under the watchful eye of the Turkish occupation, which in turn deployed tanks and armored vehicles on the roads.

The Observatory indicated that the fighting is taking place with the aim of controlling the strategic Al-Hamran crossing, which is considered the focus of a conflict between the mercenaries of the Turkish occupation, “Tahrir al-Sham,” and the so-called “National Army.”

Coinciding with the fighting, the region witnessed a displacement movement, with clashes continuing in residential neighborhoods, such as the towns of Soran and Ahtimlat Dabiq, amid the blocking of roads from Azaz to Jarabulus.
