The Turkish occupation state continues its attacks on North and East Syria, between land and air, the latest of which was its successive targeting by air of officials and leaders of the military and security forces, and citizens in North and East Syria, in the city of Manbij and Qamishlo canton on the 16th and 17th of this September.

With the attacks, popular discontent increases with its interference in Syrian affairs, and the continuation of its policy of targeting the Syrian people and occupying their lands.

The attacks of the Turkish occupation state escalated, with the Syrian Democratic Forces launching a “Security Enhancement” operation against ISIS mercenary cells and drug traffickers and traffickers in the Deir ez-Zor countryside.

The head of the Future Syria Party Council in Deir ez-Zor, Yahya Al-Ali, said about it: “The Turkish occupation state seeks to control  North and East Syria, and is working to destabilize security and stability, and this confirms that Turkey has clear plans to achieve its goals through these attacks.”

Al-Ali added: “The period of Ottoman occupation of Syrian lands lasted for more than 400 years, which reflects Turkey’s desire for that to this day, represented by occupation and colonial expansion. It is likely that the same patterns will be repeated at the present time, as its policies and actions confirm its intention to colonize other regions.”

Al-Ali stressed that the Turkish occupation state is specifically targeting the Autonomous Administration project, which has proven successful as a model project.

Criticizing the positions of NATO, which includes Turkey, Al-Ali stressed, "The presence of the Turkish occupation state in NATO has led to complacency in issues related to its violations and attacks. Regardless of international political and military alliances, justice and equality must exist globally and should not be affected by those alliances."

He stressed the firm position of the people of north-eastern Syria, "The positions of the people of the region confirm their rejection of these attacks and the Turkish occupation, and we are still suffering from the impact of the Ottoman occupation on our country, so the people will not allow it to return again, and they will preserve their areas, and they are determined to stay."

For his part, the deputy co-chairmanship of the Deir ez-Zor Council, Salah Al-Salman, referred to the mechanism capable of standing up to what is being exposed to North and East Syria. “The solidarity of the peoples in northern and eastern Syria constitutes a deterrent to the attacks launched by Turkey on our people, and our strength lies in consolidating and strengthening the internal front.” And joining the ranks of the Syrian Democratic Forces.”

Al-Salman stressed that the attacks constitute a threat to the security and stability of the country, and they aim to annihilate the peoples of the region and push them into instability, even if they are not occupied.

He said: "The Syrian Democratic Forces and northern and eastern Syria are exposed to various forms of attacks, but their consistent strategy has reaffirmed their ability to defend land, people and property through resistance and confronting terrorism."

He added, "The determination, will, and insistence on staying and preserving property had a positive impact on the military forces' courage in responding to the attacks."
