Renewed clashes inside Security Square in Hasaka
Hasaka city is witnessing clashes between the National Defense Forces and Damascus government forces.
ANHA agency's correspondent in the city reported that clashes had erupted since the night hours between National Defense mercenaries and Damascus government forces.
Hasaka city witnessed security tension between the Jabour tribe and the National Defense mercenaries affiliated with the Damascus government forces on August 13, over beating one of the tribe’s notables by the so-called Abdul Qadir Hamo. The tension has increased since September 13, during which the Damascus government forces took control of points for the National Defense mercenaries.
The "Haganah" forces mobilized in the streets surrounding the house of the mercenary leader called "Abdul Qadir Hamo" near the "Baath Party Branch" and "Tishreen" Park, and deployed snipers on the roofs of buildings and government departments overlooking the house.
The Damascus government suspended classes in all schools located in the security square due to the clashes.
