As an initial toll, 3 people were injured by live bullets and shrapnel, following gunfire from inside the building of the “Baath Party Branch,” to disperse a group of protesters who were trying to re-close the branch building, today, according to the al-Suwayda 24 website.

After that, large groups of protesters, headed to the party branch building, coinciding with a state of discontent and anger, according to the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights.

The people of As-Suwayda continue their protest for the fourth week in a row, as dozens of residents of the city of As-Suwayda gathered, today, in Al-Sir al-Karama Square, affirming their legitimate demands calling for a political transition, Assad stepping down from power, implementing International Resolution 2254, and releasing detainees.
