Turkish occupation settles new batch of Syrian refugees in occupied Girê Spi

The Turkish authorities deported a new batch of Syrian refugees from its territory towards the occupied Girê Spi province, bringing the number of deportees this month to 980.

The Turkish occupation state continues to implement demographic change policy by deporting the Syrian refugees to Turkish-held areas in Syria.

On Tuesday, Turkey deported 320 Syrian refugees through the border gate to the occupied Girê Spi province, and handed them over to its mercenaries from the military police in preparation for their resettlement in the homes of forcibly displaced people.

With the entry of this batch, the number of deportees during the current month becomes 980 deportees.

During the past month, ANHA agency documented the deportation of 1,490 refugees to the occupied area.

While the number of deportees since the date on which Turkish officials announced in early April of last year the deportation of one million Syrian refugees from its lands towards the areas it occupies in Syria has reached 26,480 deportees.
