Massive march in Raqqa for appreciation of SDF’s efforts

The people of the city of Raqqa, members of institutions, women's, youth and civil organizations, political parties, and tribal sheikhs and notables gathered in front of the General Council building in the center of the city, raising the flags of the SDF and pictures of the martyrs of the "Security Enhancement" operation.

Member of the Martyrs' Families Council, Samira al-Abd, gave a speech in which she said: "Today we stand proudly to renew the pledge of loyalty and allegiance to the Syrian Democratic Forces; these forces have proven to the whole world the courage of their heroes in confronting the most ferocious terrorist organization in the world".

She explained, "The continuation of the conspiracy against our forces will only increase our insistence on consolidating our patriotism, values, and principles, and that the strife in Deir ez-Zor, is a desperate attempt to erase the sovereign national path of struggle that the SDF are following".

Then, the sheikh of the Al-Sabkha tribe, Turki Al-Suwan, gave a speech in which he said: “In my name and in the name of the tribal sheikhs and notables in the city of Raqqa, we salute the Syrian Democratic Forces, the bulwark in the face of all the dangers and betrayals to which NE are exposed".
