On Wednesday, a Munich court increased the sentence imposed on a German ISIS woman convicted of killing a 5-year-old Yazidi girl after leaving her to die of thirst, so she was sentenced to 14 years in prison instead of 10 years, according to Agence France-Presse.

And in 2021, Jennifer Wenish, who was 30 years old at the time, was sentenced to 10 years in prison, after she was convicted of several charges, including a "crime against humanity that led to the death” of a person and belonging to a “terrorist organization".

This was one of the first trials to take place in the world for those accused of committing war crimes against the Yazidis, against whom ISIS mercenaries committed various atrocities, according to the agency.
