Intensive attacks on regions of Başûr Kurdistan while visiting Turkish occupation foreign minister

The Turkish occupation army has intensified its attacks on the villages of Kani Masi district, which is affiliated with the Amadiya district in Başûr Kurdistan, especially after the visit of the Turkish foreign minister to Hewler, and his meeting with officials of the Kurdistan Democratic Party.

On Saturday, a local source, quoted by Roj news agency, reported that the villages of Kani Masi district, which is affiliated to the Amadiya district in Başûr Kurdistan, have been subjected to intense bombardment by the Turkish occupation army's aircraft and artillery since midnight yesterday until noon today.

The source stated that the Turkish artillery shelled the villages of "Bitkar" and "Kori Ziri", which belong to the Kani Masi district in the Amadiya district.

The source confirmed that the warplanes of the Turkish occupation army bombed the surroundings of the villages of "Ziwa", "Siri" and "Rashafa" in Dirloc district.

The source added that these attacks led to the outbreak of fires in large areas of agricultural lands and forests, without causing human casualties as a result of these attacks.

This escalation comes two days after the visit of the Turkish foreign minister to Hewler, and his meeting with officials of the Kurdistan Democratic Party.
