Military parade commemorates 15th of August leap

Women's Protection Units YPJ and the People's Protection Units YPG presented a military parade in Aleppo, on the occasion of the 39th anniversary of the August 15th leap, and emphasized the completion of the struggle and resistance of martyr Masoum Korkmaz.

On the occasion of the August 15th leap, YPJ and YPG presented a military parade at the shrine of the martyrs of Sheikh Maqsoud and Ashrafieh resistance, located in the Shaqif neighborhood of Aleppo.

It was attended by representatives of political parties and civil institutions.

The show began with a minute of silence in honor of the souls of the martyrs, then the commander of YPJ, Rojda Afrin, gave a speech in which she blessed the leader Abdullah Ocalan, the mothers of the martyrs and the people in general on the 15th of August leap anniversary.

And she said, "On this day, the first bullet was fired into the forehead of the enemy by the commander and martyr, Masoum Korkmaz, who took the first step towards the armed struggle, which was an incentive to push the Kurds and the oppressed people towards revenge and liberation from the chains of slavery".

The Military parade ended with chanting "There is no life without the leader", "Women, life, freedom".
