Crimes of the Turkish occupation and its mercenaries against women are ignored

The speech of the member of the Kongra Star Coordination, Alif Muhammad, came as a comment on the crimes and violations of the Turkish occupation state and its mercenaries, against the people and women in the occupied areas, the most recent of which was the action of a member of the so-called "Local Council" in the Janders district of the occupied Afrin canton, called "Zakaria Bustani" and his son. Nasr Bustani" for the rape of a child, after she was kidnapped from her home under the threat of her family to kill her.

In this series of crimes, Turkish officials and the leaders of their mercenaries raped 3 female teachers in one of the occupied schools of Jarablus, while a leader of the mercenaries of the "Al-Sharqiya Army" threatened a citizen of Janders district to rape his daughters in front of his eyes, if he did not pay him, according to sources of ANHA's agency, Yesterday Sunday.

A member of the Kongra Star Coordination in Afrin and al-Shahba cantons confirmed that what is being circulated about violations and crimes against women in the areas occupied by Turkey and its mercenaries represent only 10 percent of them, explaining, "the number is greater than that."

A member of the Coordination Committee, Alif Muhammad, reported that more than 20 women and 5 children were subjected to rape by the mercenaries of the Turkish occupation during the months of July and August.

Noting that there are daily crimes committed against women in occupied Afrin, including murder, kidnapping and rape, not to mention the harassment that drives them to death.

Alif mentioned the situation in Afrin after its occupation by Turkey and its mercenaries, saying: "The Turkish occupation and its mercenaries turned Afrin into a quagmire in which they practice their crimes against people and stones, and a center for the spread and promotion of drugs."

And she indicated that international forces and international women's organizations turn a blind eye to what the Turkish occupation state is doing against women in occupied Afrin, stressing that they have documented many cases and sent them to international and women's organizations through the Afrin-Syria Human Rights Organization, but they were not heard.

The member of the Kongra Star Coordination in the cantons of Afrin and al-Shahba called for immediate intervention, and an end to the crimes of the Turkish occupation and its mercenaries against women in Afrin and all of the occupied areas.
