​​​​​​​Zenobia Women's Gathering calls for going out to the squares for the sake of leader Abdullah Ocalan

The Turkish occupation state has imposed strict isolation on the leader Abdullah Ocalan, for more than 29 months, and has also prevented his lawyer and family from meeting with him, and forced him to receive letters containing death and assassination threats, which sparked a wave of anger in North and East Syria and all of Kurdistan.

A member of the Training Committee of the Zenobia Women's Gathering Council in Raqqa, Kinana al-Abdo, condemned at the outset of her speech the isolation imposed on leader Abdullah Ocalan.

She referred to the threatening messages delivered by the Turkish occupation state and the Imrali prison administration to the leader Abdullah Ocalan, saying: "These threats, if they indicate anything, indicate the weakness and cowardice of the Turkish occupation state from the leader Abdullah Ocalan."

She affirmed the leader Abdullah Ocalan's resistance to the policies practiced against him, saying: "We are all certain that leader Abdullah Ocalan will not care about these policies, because he is an ambitious leader with a broad vision, and such poisonous messages will not affect him."

Regarding the activities of the Zenobia Women's Gathering in the context of lifting the strict isolation of the leader Abdullah Ocalan, Kenana al-Abdo explained that they in the gathering will escalate the pace of their struggle by various means and methods, "through mass marches and demonstrations that we will organize in all regions of North and East Syria."

Also, by making statements and press interviews calling for the physical freedom of the leader Abdullah Ocalan, according to what Kenana al-Abdo said, and she also stressed, "We will raise our voice in the face of the Turkish occupation state and the administration of Imrali Prison, until the physical freedom of the leader Abdullah Ocalan is achieved."

A member of the Training Committee of the Zenobia Women's Gathering Council in Raqqa called on all women to raise the pace of struggle and go out to the arenas of resistance in the face of the violations of the Turkish occupation state and the Imrali prison administration, and pressure them to break the isolation of the leader Abdullah Ocalan and achieve his physical freedom.
