​​​​​​​KCK: KNK's meeting in Lausanne is very meaningful, valuable

The co-presidency of the Executive Council of the Kurdistan Communities Union said in its statement: "The Kurdistan National Congress (KNK) held an important meeting on the occasion of the centenary of the Treaty of Lausanne with participation of many representatives of Kurdish organizations, intellectuals, historians, politicians, sheikhs, friends of the Kurdish people and people of different religions and identities in Kurdistan. We find holding such a meeting on the centenary of the Lausanne Agreement, which has historical significance for the Kurdish people and Kurdistan has a great value.

KCK explained that: "The Treaty of Lausanne is a genocide agreement that ignores the Kurdish people and divides Kurdistan, where the tyrannical states in Kurdistan have taken this agreement as their basis and implemented the policy of denial, destruction and genocide against the Kurdish people. Whereas the world, especially European countries, remained silent about the massacres that were committed against the Kurds, just as the signatories of this treaty did not seek justice and fairness, but they sought to achieve political and economic interests, and as a result, all the peoples of Kurdistan and the Middle East, especially the Kurdish people, were separated from each other by the forces of the dominant capitalist system, the only thing that mattered to the dominant powers was to serve the client regimes and states Affiliate created in the Middle East".
