People of Deir Ezzor call for leader's physical freedom

Along with the people, members of civil institutions in the eastern countryside of Deir Ezzor, sheikhs and notables of the clans, and members of the Zenobia Women's Gathering participated in the demonstration, carrying pictures of the leader Abdullah Ocalan, and banners reading "The physical freedom of the leader Abdullah Ocalan", "Down with the Turkish occupation state" With the vanguard of the young woman we will break down the walls of Imrali and free our leader.

The demonstration started in front of the Eastern Region Council, towards Hajin General Hospital, and upon its arrival there, the demonstrators observed a minute of silence in honor of the martyrs' souls.

The head of the Council of the Future Syria Party in the eastern countryside of Deir Ezzor, Yahya Al-Ali, read a statement on behalf of the people of the eastern countryside of Deir Ezzor, which read:

"We, the people of Deir Ezzor, condemn and denounce the international silence regarding the Turkish government's actions that contradict human rights and international norms by weaving conspiracies against the Syrian people in general."

The statement added, "The Turkish occupation state is fighting all projects of freedom and democracy in the Middle East, and the latest of these irresponsible actions is handing leader Abdullah Ocalan threatening messages."

"Erdogan's government is constantly trying to change its policies and is now sending threatening messages to physically liquidate leader Abdullah Ocalan, and through that action it is trying to shuffle the cards in the Middle East," the statement said.

The statement called on "the free world, human rights organizations, and the United Nations to carry out their duties towards the leader, and we, in turn, hold them responsible for any harm that may befall the leader, and we demand the realization of his physical freedom because of our belief in the project of the democratic nation and the brotherhood of peoples."

The demonstration ended with chanting slogans calling for the freedom of the leader Abdullah Ocalan.
