SARA,Schlier slam raping child by Turkey's mercenaries in Afrin

The SARA Organization for Combating Violence against Women, and the Schlier Committee for Follow-up of Children's Rights in North and East Syria in Aleppo, Kobani and Ain Issa, condemned, through separate statements, the crime of rape of the "Hamzat" mercenaries affiliated with the Turkish occupation state, a 13-year-old girl in the village of Juwayq in occupied Afrin.

The statement was read by the administrator of the Schlier Committee, Avin Sheikho, and the administrator of the SARA organization, Naglaa Hamza, in the Sheikh Maqsoud neighborhood in Aleppo, and in Ain Issa district, by the administrator Nawal Al-Obeid, and in Kobani by the organization’s member, Mardia Ismail.

The beginning of the statement stated: "Every day, the occupied territories are exposed to practices and violations committed by terrorist groups and armed factions supported by the fascist Turkish government."

The statement continued, "Recently, cases of murder and rape have increased in occupied Afrin, where a 13-year-old girl from the village of Juwayq was raped by the mercenaries of the so-called Hamza faction affiliated with the Turkish occupation."

The statement condemned the violations and crimes committed in occupied Afrin, the latest of which was the rape of the girl child, and called on international, human rights and civil society organizations to put an end to such crimes and impose the most severe penalties against the perpetrators.

The occupied areas are witnessing security chaos and crimes committed by the mercenaries against the people without deterrence or accountability.
