Popular demands to participate in trial of ISIS mercenaries

On June 10, the Autonomous Administration of North and East Syria announced, through a statement, the start of trying ISIS mercenaries in accordance with international and domestic laws on terrorism, and in a way that preserves the rights of the plaintiffs, victims and their family members.

In this context, ANHA agency met with the people of the city of Kobani, who demanded that they be involved in the trial of these mercenaries.

The citizen, Fatima Muslim Ismail, demanded that the families of the martyrs have a role in the trial of ISIS mercenaries, and said: "The time has come for those who worked as mercenaries under Turkish occupation state and should pay the price for the massacres committed against our children."

As for the citizen, Fatima Muhammad Issa, she said: "Before sunrise, they slaughtered our children, old and young, thinking that they had broken our will, but we came back much stronger than before, and today these criminals are in the grip of our forces, the trial must be in the city of Kobani and in the square of The free woman.

Fatima pledged to avenge the martyrs from everyone who had a hand in the massacres that were committed against them.

In turn, the citizen, Najma Kanjo, asked: "Through whom the mercenaries entered our regions, isn't it through the Turkish occupation state that occupies our land and attacks us every day? Why do countries ignore the return of their nationals and their trials?"

Najma indicated: "We will take revenge for our martyrs through their trial, which should be at the hands of the sons of the martyrs, and the attacks of the Turkish occupation state will not intimidate us, and our response to them will be firm, so everyone who works as an agent of the occupying state must review himself before it is too late."

As for the citizen, Medina Ali, she demanded that the trial of ISIS mercenaries be at the places of the crimes and massacres they committed against the people of the region, and that the judges be from the families of the martyrs, so that the Turkish occupation state knows that its mercenaries failed to achieve its plans.

More than 10,000 ISIS mercenaries, who come from more than 60 countries, are being held in NE Syria. Until now, these countries ignore the return of their mercenary nationals who committed massacres against the people of  NE Syria, where the Autonomous Administration bears their burdens alone.
