​​​​​​​Turkey seeks to eliminate democratic projects Middle East

This came in the context of the indignant reactions to the policy pursued by the Turkish authorities against the leader Abdullah Ocalan and the tightening of isolation, amid calls for the need to hold the Turkish occupation state accountable for its illegal practices against the leader.

The member of the Intellectuals Union - Hasaka Branch, the plastic artist Abdul-Ghani Muhammad Hussein indicated that the strict isolation is persecution against the Kurdish people, and said: "The enemy of the Kurdish people is the enemy of society and the cause, and isolation against the leader Ocalan represents persecution and a violation of human values."

Abdul- Ghani Muhammad Hussein explained that the persecution practiced against the leader Abdullah Ocalan violates the international laws and constitutions of the United Nations and the ideas of peoples, because the leader is fighting for peoples who are deprived of their legitimate rights.

For his part, the member of the Writers' Union - Qamishlo branch, Salim Majid Muhammad, confirmed that the "disciplinary punishment" imposed by the Turkish occupation state on the leader Abdullah Ocalan recently is the result of its fear of the leader Ocalan's philosophy and the only democratic project to solve all outstanding crises in the Middle East.

Salim Majid Muhammad noted: "The Turkish occupation state is always trying by all means to undermine the will and power of the thought of the leader Abdullah Ocalan, and democratic projects, freedom and humanity, and the leader Ocalan is the one who represents these projects in the Middle East."

Kawa Fatemi, at the Lawyers Union branch in Al-Hasakah, confirms: "There is no legal article that stipulates the disciplinary penalties imposed by the Turkish occupation state on the leader Abdullah Ocalan. The goal of the Turkish occupation state is to consolidate isolation and cut off communication between the leader Abdullah Ocalan his family, his lawyers, and the outside world in general.”

Fatemi noted that: "The United Nations does not have the authority to impose or oblige the Turkish occupation state to abide by the principles of human rights and the rights of political detainees, and it does not have a role and legal force that authorizes it to oblige the Turkish occupation state, but the issue is up to the Human Rights Court in The Hague of the European Union, because The Committee Against Torture (CPT) is the first to monitor the rights of political prisoners around the world.

Fatemi stressed that representatives of the UN committees of human rights organizations and political detainees can reveal violations of the rights of political detainees, including the leader Abdullah Ocalan, and submit their report to the United Nations.

The Turkish occupation state imposes strict isolation on the leader Abdullah Ocalan, under the pretext of so-called "disciplinary penalties", the last of which was on April 26, and prevents his family and lawyers from meeting him or revealing his health condition.
