​​​​​​​TEV DEM congratulates the Syrians on Eid al-Adha

The Democratic Society Movement issued a statement, in which it congratulated all components of Syrian society on the occasion of the Eid al-Adha.

That reads:

"we extend our warmest congratulations and blessings to all the families of the martyrs and the wounded comrades, our resistance people and all the components of the Syrian society.

We hope, on this blessed occasion, that peace and stability will prevail throughout Syria and the region, especially in the current phase after the failure of the Astana group, and that solutions can bring back the joy of symbolic national and religious occasions will be achieved in the hearts of all components.

Holidays have great importance in their moral meanings of authentic societies that have preserved these cultural and moral meanings throughout history.

However, the Turkish occupation state and its mercenaries are still turning holidays and all occasions into a day of extremism and terrorism and imposing it on safe societies and depriving them of practicing rituals and customs of moral values, and practicing the most heinous types of violations through their brutal bombing of the safest areas and violating the sovereign airspace of neighboring countries with warplanes and drones to target civilians in a daily way.

 It is the terrorist Justice and Development government that does not give any regard to the holidays or the sanctity of humanity and commits crimes and massacres against our people and our values.

We, in the Democratic Society Movement TEV-DEM, renew our congratulations again, and affirm that we are fully confident that peace will come to the region through the Syrian-Syrian dialogue without international and regional interference. Let there be guarantor countries for a peaceful solution to end political threats and conflicts, and for the joy and happiness of the holidays to return to the faces of our children and the people of the region".
